MY STORY In the mid 1980's I began my interest in real estate . This was when my husband, (we were still courting then), bought his 1st house in Norwich, CT. I observed the process and thought that I'd like to be part of it someday. Through the years, we have bought remodeled and sold properties in the Norwich area, for investment reasons. Observing the art of negotioation facinated me and again at each transaction I thought that I really would like to be part of that process sometime in my future.

My husband and I were the general contractors when building our home in Preston, CT. I have been told by many that I pay close attention to detail , and while building our home, this skill really helped out. From designing the floor plan and outside facade, to coordinating the subcontractors, along with doing a lot of the work ourselves -- then designing the kitchen, down to choosing the light fixtures and wood trim, I've been there and would do it again in a minute.
When my children were born, I put my career in Early Childhood Education on halt so I could stay home and raise them. Now they are in school on a full-time basis, I have the opportunity to be part of this side of the real estate process. Now I am familiar with it as a buyer, a seller, a remodeler, a builder and as a Realtor®. With that knowledge, I understand what it is like to be on just about all sides of a real estate transaction.
